Old Hag's Hand

An 'Old Hag's Hand' pointer handmade by me from American muslin and mounted on an old candlestick.  The fingers have been hand-sculpted to give them an old and gnarly appearance and the index finger has a long, hand-painted fingernail.  The whole thing has been sanded and grunged with coffee, vanilla and cinnamon.  Draped over the wrist and forearm are hand-dyed cheesecloth strips in black and crimson.  Sitting on her wrist is a primitive crow that has been painted black, grunged with coffee, vanilla and cinnamon and finished with black bead eyes.  The whole thing is mounted on an old candlestick that has been painted black and distressed.  A coffee-stained 'The witch is in' tag has been attached to the arm with a rusty tin safety pin.

'Harvest Blessings' Box

A vintage 'Kraft American' cheese box filled with Spanish moss, a scarecrow, three pumpkins, prim greens, pip berries and two flicker lites.  The scarecrow is made from tea-dyed muslin and a selection of honey & me fabrics.  He has black bead eyes, a homespun nose, a hand-stitched mouth & eyebrows, raffia hair & neck tie and two brown shirt buttons.  The pumpkins are made from a selection of co-ordinating honey & me fabrics with an inner layer of batting and have hand-stitched detail.  Attached to the pumpkins are grapevine stems.  The box is then filled with prim greens and a variety of fall coloured pip berries.  Tucked into the Spanish moss are two cinnamon & clove grunged flicker lites.  The box has been tied with honey & me fabric and finished with a tea-dyed 'Harvest Blessings' hang tag.

Country Welcome

Made from pine and hand-painted in fall colours, this large country welcome angel with pumpkin swag is ideal to hang on a door or wall.  Loads of detail including fall leaves hanging from the raffia bow, tiny buttons on her wings and a flower in her hair.  A really beautiful item!

Agatha & Her Crows

Agatha is a large, stump witch doll handmade from American muslin which has been heavily grunged with coffee, vanilla & cinnamon.  Her nose and eyes have been hand-sculpted.  Her hat has been painted black, grunged and stitched into a crooked shape.  It is tied with cheesecloth and finished with a rusty tin jingle bell. Her dress is made from tea-dyed black & cream checked homespun and her apron is made from torn and distressed cheesecloth hand-dyed in grey.  Attached to her shoulder and apron are two black crows also made from American muslin.

Lighted Haunted House

A tall, lighted haunted house painted with traditional milk paint in buttermilk and barn red.  The house has been distressed to give it an old antique appearance.  Accented with two rusty tin stars.  Price includes fitted low-voltage lighting kit with transformer so no adaptor is required for use in the UK.
