Witch
Hat Table Topper
A
grungy, witch hat table decoration which I have handmade
from American muslin. It has been painted black,
heavily grunged in coffee, vanilla and cinnamon and then
oven baked to give it a time worn look. The hat is
tied with grungy cheesecloth with handfuls of Spanish moss
and bunches of sweet annie tucked in along with sprigs of
burgundy & cream pip berries. Fastened to the hat
point and cheesecloth tie are rusty jingle bells. The
whole thing is finished off with a grungy hangtag which has
the words "Silhouette Halloween Costumes" printed
across a picture of a witch on a broomstick flying across
the moon.

width is 26 cm x a height of 25 cm

Grungy
Olde Witch Boot With Flicker Light
"When
witches go riding, and black cats are seen, the moon laughs
and whispers, 'tis near Halloween."
A
large (stands over a foot high!), grungy, old witch boot
that I have handmade from American
muslin with a tongue of black wool felt. The boot has
been painted black, heavily grunged with coffee, vanilla and
cinnamon and then oven baked to give it a time worn look.
The boot is fastened with twelve rusty jingle bells and
coffee dyed string. The poem has been printed onto
paper, heavily grunged and then distressed with
match-scorched edges. Spaghum moss decorates the
outside of the boot and the tongue. The inside of the
boot is filled with sprigs of Sweet Annie, a few prairie
drieds and a grungy, battery operated flicker light.
The boot has a weighted bottom so it will stand
anywhere. A gorgeous Halloween item!

Witch
Tea Towel With Hanger
A
metal witch hat & spider towel holder with tea-towel
made to look like a witches skirt.
I
have taken a heavy duty, black and tan, homespun tea-towel
and added an underskirt of cream American cotton with tan
dots. The underskirt has been appliquéd with three
black spiders with hand-stitched legs. Along the join
I have added a civil war print frill. Hanging from the
bottom of the skirt are two wool felt boots accented with
rusty jingle bells. The tea-towel has been finished
with three brown & tan buttons. A lovely fall
