Dammit Doll

A Dammit doll stress reliever stuffed with stress relieving herbs, so as you bash her the aroma will soothe your frayed nerves.  She is made from homespun fabric and stuffed with polyester filling, juniper berries and lavender flowers.  She has the following poem attached to her tummy with big stitches. She has mad sticky out hair and bead eyes.

"When you want to throw the phone or kick a chair and shout, here's a little dammit doll you cannot do without.
Just grip it firmly by the legs and find a place to slam it, and as you bash it's stuffing out, yell  Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! "

Sweet Annie

A beautiful Sweet Annie doll which I have handmade from tea-dyed muslin.   She has a sweet hand-stitched face with burgundy floss hair and red & cream homespun tie..  Her dress is made of country blue and cream checked homespun with a tea-dyed Osnaburg collar and pocket trimmed with a blue floss running stitch.  The collar is accented with a burgundy button.  The pocket is filled with dried Sweet Annie and accented with a circular 'Sweet Annie' hang-tag attached with a rusty safety pin.  Underneath her dress are a pair of cream muslin loons.  Her stockings have been hand painted and her boots are painted black.

Annie & Her Cat

~ Handmade by Chris Nicholds (me) for Little Falls Cabin ~

A large Annie doll hand made from tea-dyed muslin and a selection of coordinating American cotton & homespun fabrics.  She has a sweet hand-stitched face with black button eyes and burgundy spun wool hair with three homespun ties.  Her shirt is made from a warm beige fabric decorated with primitive stars and her pinafore dress is made from burgundy & cream homespun fabric fastened with two prim buttons.  Underneath is a pair of tea-dyed muslin loons.  Her stockings are hand-painted burgundy stripes.  She is finished with an 'Annie & Her Cat' hang tag.

Annie's cat is made from muslin that has been completely hand painted in lamp black and then sanded off for a more textured look.  He has a cute hand-stitched face with crochet thread whiskers.
